Another Successful Annual Golf Tournament

Truck Raffle Grand Prize Awarded!

On Friday, May 23rd, members from SAVES joined Gene Latta Ford in presenting the brand new 2024 Ford F150 Grand Prize from our Online Raffle to Jason Kline. Jason's ticket number was drawn during our Facebook Live drawing on May 3, 2025, along with Second Prize winner Susan Meckley and Third Prize winner Cornelia Coldsmith.

Afternoon Fly-Out & Garage Fire
April 17
At 1415 Engine 29 was alerted to establish a landing zone for Community LifeTeam EMS for a medical call. Engine 29 set-up a landing zone at Emeco at 805 W. Elm Ave for WellFlight 2-8.

At 1117 hours, Engine 29 and Rescue 29 were dispatched in Box 33-304 to the intersection of Hanover Rd. and Honda Rd. for a vehicle accident. Rescue 29 arrived and assisted with controlling hazards and patient care. Rescue 29 also set-up a landing zone for Wellflight 2-8. Engine 29 was cancelled en route. First Due Mid-day Structure Fire

On Wednesday, April 9th @ 13:15hrs, Company 29 was alerted for a structure fire in the 600 Block of Main Street. Assistant Chief 29 (AC29) went responding and advised of smoke showing from a distance. Adams County Department of Emergency Services (ACDES) put out the Working Fire dispatch which alerted additional companies. AC29 arrived on scene and took command. Busy Past Weeks For SAVES

The past few weeks have been busy here at SAVES. For several weeks, the facilities committee has been hard at work updating the aged HVAC system in the station with the installation by DESCO Services. In the mean time, members handled multiple calls during this time frame. Members handled a mutual aid transfer to Carroll County, MD to cover Taneytown while they operated on a structure fire.
