On Saturday August 12, 2023 shortly after Noon, Rescue 29 was dispatched mutual aid to York County, West Manheim Township to assist Station 52 for a Technical Rescue of a person stuck in Mud. Rescue 29 responded with 5. Upon arrival to Long Arm Damn behind station 52 and 79 apparatus, crews were assigned different areas to search for the victim. Truck 79 and Rescue 29 searched the Southern end of the Reservior and located the victim. Lt Myers located the victim and advised of the exact location. Lt Myers and Capt. Costella from Rescue 29 started making way out to victim via backboards to make the rescue. Victim was extricated from mud and assisted back to solid ground with no injuries.
